When autumn arrives in the Basque Country, something ancient awakens. The forest deepens its greens, the earth releases its secrets, and the thermal waters—born from the earth’s own heart—invite us to remember what we truly are.

Welcome to the first edition of the Awaken as Love & Tantra Esencia de Vida Spain Tantra Festival. This is not a festival of escape – it is a gathering of return!

We come together in the embrace of a mystical forest and sacred waters to explore the deepest dimensions of tantra: presence, embodiment, authentic connection, and the alchemy of transformation. We listen. We allow the wisdom of our bodies and the earth to guide us home.

Who is holding it?

The festival is co-created by James Stevenson (Awaken as Love) and Amerai Carrera (Tantra Esencia de Vida), together with an international team of International workshop Leaders, session givers, emotional support crew, DJs, musicians, volunteers, and retreat space holders.

Where is it?

The festival takes place at Casa Pallotti, a beautiful retreat centre nestled in nature in the Basque Country, known for its healing thermal waters, lush forest surroundings, and peaceful atmosphere. A space designed to slow down, reconnect, and go deep.

Am I welcomed?

Yes — you are truly welcome. We embrace all relationship styles, orientations, and identities (18+). Whether you are coming alone, open to meeting and exploring with others, or arriving as a couple wishing to deepen your intimacy, this festival offers a safe, conscious and nourishing space to dive in.

Presenters & Musicians

We place great care in selecting our facilitators. In most cases, we invite teachers who have completed at least the Stage 1 training with us, ensuring a shared foundation and depth in the work or done the complete Teachers Trainning (two years) with Tantra Esencia de vida.

Our team is made up of experienced space holders who walk their talk. They are grounded in embodiment, committed to their own inner work, and skilled in creating safe, conscious environments where transformation can unfold naturally.

Rooted in Integral Tantra — a path that weaves together multiple wisdom traditions — they guide from lived experience, not borrowed knowledge.
